What to expect?

The patients get a series of injections using a special needle. The needle may be attached to a mechanical gun to give the injections in a row.

The injections are given at varied depths into the skin depending on the condition that is being treated. The needle will be placed into the skin at an angle, and the doctor might flick their wrist quickly during the injection process. The injection only place tiny drops of the solution into the patient’s skin.
